Our Commitment to Responsible Production and Zero Destruction

At Borneo Paris, we design with intention and longevity in mind. Our collections are created to be semi-permanent — timeless, elegant pieces that transcend seasons rather than follow fleeting trends.

Because our styles remain part of our core collection, we do not operate on a seasonal cycle that generates excess or unsold stock. Each piece is produced in limited quantities and can be restocked when demand requires it, ensuring a slow and mindful production rhythm.

No Destruction of Unsold Products

We have a clear policy that strictly prohibits the destruction of unsold products. If a product remains unsold, it simply stays part of our collection until it finds its owner — there is no disposal. At times, certain pieces may be archived or rehomed through donations, but they are never destroyed.

This approach allows us to preserve the integrity of each design and ensure that every piece crafted under the Borneo Paris name is treated with respect — from creation to its eventual home.

Donation and Recycling Policy

On the rare occasion that an item is damaged or cannot be sold:

If the piece is still wearable or usable, we donate or archive it.
In some cases, certain pieces may not be sellable but remain valuable for photography, fittings, or prototyping, allowing us to extend their purpose responsibly.

If it is not suitable for any of the above, it is recycled responsibly through our TerraCycle® program, ensuring every textile is given a second life.

No swim piece is ever thrown away or destroyed.

Designing for Timelessness

Our semi-permanent approach allows us to honour the resources, craftsmanship, and people behind every garment. We design slow, produce thoughtfully, and take full responsibility for the lifecycle of our products.

At Borneo Paris, sustainability isn’t a trend — it’s our foundation.
