Good On You Rating: Good
Borneo Paris has been independently rated by Good On You, the leading global platform assessing fashion brands on their impact on People, Planet, and Animals.
Our updated score is 82/100, placing us in the “Good” category.
We are particularly proud to have achieved:
- Great for Planet
- It’s a Start for People
Not applicable for Animals (as a swimwear brand using no animal-derived materials)
This rating reflects our progress and also highlights areas where we are continuing to strengthen our practices. Good On You reviews each brand’s evidence in detail, and we have used their feedback to guide our next steps.
What we’re improving next
As part of our latest review, Good On You provided helpful guidance on where more formal evidence or documentation is needed. We are using this to strengthen our commitments to the people who make our garments.
1. Living Wage Transparency
We are adopting an industry-recognised definition of a living wage and will begin publishing clearer information about how wages in our supply chain compare to this benchmark. This includes documenting wage structures with our partners and making sure our commitments are aligned.
2. Supplier Engagement & Long-Term Partnerships
We are formalising how we work with our suppliers by documenting communication practices, partnership duration, and the processes we use to support safe and fair working conditions. Our goal is to build long-term, respectful relationships that value the people behind each garment.
3. Human-Centred Policies
We are developing clearer policies related to labour rights, subcontracting, and worker protection. These policies will be published on our website as we complete them, ensuring transparency and accountability across every stage of production.
These improvements are already underway, and our profile will be updated as we publish more documented evidence.
Why we publish this
Sustainability is more than a label for us — it is a process.
We share our Good On You rating because we believe in transparency, progress over perfection, and showing our community exactly where we stand and where we’re headed. This means sharing both the strengths we’re proud of and the areas where we still have work to do, so our commitment to responsible production remains honest and measurable.
