Refund policy

General Return Policy

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it — unused, unwashed, with all tags and hygiene stickers intact, and in its original packaging.

Returns must first be approved before being shipped back to us. Items sent without prior authorization will not be accepted.

Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility, and all returns must be sent to our warehouse in France.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon arrival and contact us immediately if your item is defective, damaged, or incorrect. We will evaluate the issue and work with you to make it right.


Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

We cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges.
The fastest way to receive a new item is to return your existing one (if eligible), and once approved, place a new order for the desired size or style.


Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, you’ll be notified of approval or rejection.
If approved, the refund will be processed to your original payment method within 15 business days.

Please note it may take additional time for your bank or credit card provider to post the refund. If more than 15 business days have passed since approval, please contact us at returns@borneo-paris.com


United States, Canada, Australia Orders Returns

As of October 2025, all U.S. / Canada / Australian orders are shipped DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) — meaning the listed price already includes taxes, import duties, and shipping for a seamless delivery experience.

Please note:

  • These fees are paid directly to Customs and are non-refundable in the event of a return.

  • Your refund will apply only to the product’s base price, excluding these non-refundable costs (approximately 50% of the total).

  • Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility, and all returns must be sent to France.

  • As each order includes individualized shipping, duties, and taxes, exchanges are not possible. We recommend placing a new order if you wish to receive a different size or style.


European Union (14-Day Cooling-Off Period)

If your order is being shipped within the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your purchase within 14 days for any reason and without justification.
The item must be in the same condition as received — unused, unwashed, with all tags attached, and in original packaging.


International Orders (Outside the U.S. and EU)

Orders shipped outside the European Union and the United States may be subject to import duties, taxes, or tariffs determined by your country’s customs authority.
These charges are not included in your order total and are the customer’s responsibility.

If duties or taxes are unpaid and the shipment is refused or abandoned, we will not be able to issue a refund.
